- I'm Director of Research & Innovation for Color and Skincare at ILIA Beauty, where I lead technology development across both categories. My own career is a case study in cross-category pollination: I trained first as a food engineer, then in pharmaceutical sciences focusing on development/control of personal care products, and carried both disciplines into make-up formulation as a formula development engineer for Bourjois Paris. A decade at Coty US R&D followed, from Lip Lab scientist supporting COVERGIRL, Rimmel and Max Factor to Senior Manager of Technology & Innovation for Color Cosmetics, where I built an R&D-led innovation process across face, eyes and lips. I now work at the meeting point of colour and skincare for ILIA beauty.
