Known as an early pioneer in clean beauty, she anticipated the movement during a pivotal tenure at Origins in 2004 and went on to shape the category for decades. Her bicoastal career includes leadership roles in New York, San Francisco, and ultimately Los Angeles, where she capped her career as the SVP of Innovation, Product Development, and R&D at Kosas. Driven by a passion for healthy, radiant skin, Julie specialized in skincare and complexion. Her global pursuit of effective ingredients and advanced R&D networks led to bestsellers for iconic brands including Origins, bareMinerals, Chantecaille, and Kosas. Deeply versed in formulation at the ingredient level - and backed by powerful mentorship throughout her journey - she has co-authored patents for advanced pigmented emulsions and application tools. Julie currently resides in Los Angeles with her family.
