- Alanna Tran is the Founder, CEO, and Chief Scientist of BiotechBeauty®, a clinically validated, skin-improving makeup brand. She began her career as a cosmetic chemist at Biossance before moving into global product marketing at NYX Cosmetics and L’Oréal, where she helped bring innovative formulas to market at scale. A UC Berkeley and USC Marshall School of Business alumna, Alanna brings a rare blend of scientific expertise and brand-building experience to her work. She is passionate about advancing beauty through biotechnology, transparency, and inclusivity. Alanna is also a previous Beauty Tank winner at MakeUp in Los Angeles, now returning to New York as a judge to help spotlight the next wave of innovation shaping the industry.
